I assist residents with normal household duties, that they aren’t able to do on their own due to their health limitations. These services include but not limited to- Laundry, Food Preparation, Hair Care, Bathing, House cleaning, Household Organization, exercise, and motivational activities.
I am a BMCC first-year college student and I live at home with my mother and 5 siblings. Although my mom is a school teacher we’re often finding ourselves struggling to obtain household supplies, food, and laundry money. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, everyone’s been home and things have become more costly. My mother is a single parent and finding ways to purchase necessity items is becoming a hassle. I was working two jobs to help out with rent and food expenses- which included caregiving and part-time as a fast food employee- however since the lost of my fast food job and the halt on working with the elderly I haven’t been able to help out as much. I am now currently 6 months pregnant and expecting a son in September. So my household will be expanding and I’m struggling with figuring out how to support this change.
I need $1,600 for rent and $250 for groceries.
